Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Stride-6 and the Stride-6S?
The Stride-6S includes a built-in 10″ HD touchscreen that provides direct access to the Echelon Fit® App without a separate phone or tablet. The core running platform—deck design, motor, speed, incline, and Auto-Fold system—is the same across both models.
Do I need a subscription to use the Stride-6S touchscreen?
The treadmill functions as a standalone unit without a subscription. An Echelon Fit® App subscription is required to access live and on-demand instructor-led classes through the built-in touchscreen.
Does the Auto-Fold system work without manually lifting the deck?
Yes. The hands-free Auto-Fold system folds the deck flat automatically at the press of a button. The built-in transport wheels then allow you to roll the unit to a storage position without lifting.
What is the top speed and how many incline levels does the Stride-6S offer?
The Stride-6S supports speeds up to 12.5 MPH and includes 12 adjustable incline levels, covering a range of training intensities from light walking to running intervals.
How much space does the Stride-6S require when folded?
When folded, the Stride-6S measures 32” L × 64.3” W × 57” H. The compact folded profile and transport wheels make it practical for apartments, shared living rooms, and smaller home gym setups.
Is the Stride-6S quiet enough for apartment use?
The DC brushless motor is engineered for low-noise operation across all speed levels. A treadmill mat is additionally recommended to reduce vibration transfer through floors in multi-unit buildings.
